By default, Windows 7 has not allow saved credentials used through RDP for security reason. Not like it\u2019s former OS, Windows XP. This make me so difficult when maintain many servers production. Type credentials on each server should my finger run into PAIN. Surely that\u2019s not good solution.<\/font><\/p>\n

e.g<\/font><\/p>\n

Your system administrator does not allow the use of saved credentials to logon to the remote computer
computername\/ipadress because its identity is not fully verified. Please enter new credentials.
The logon attempt failed<\/font><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So, I\u2019ve searching on my favourite search engine, Google, and get brilliant solution. I will share it for you.<\/font><\/p>\n

This steps must be executed on your own local machine.<\/font><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open Group Policy Editor use gpedit.msc from CMD (Command Prompt)<\/font><\/li>\n
  2. Go to Local Computer Policy \u2013> Computer Configuration \u2013> Administrative Templates \u2013> System \u2013> Credentials Delegation<\/font><\/li>\n
  3. Double Click on \u201cAllow Delegating Saved Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication\u201d<\/font><\/li>\n
  4. By default it will be \u201cnot configured\u201d<\/font><\/li>\n
  5. Select Enable the policy<\/font><\/li>\n
  6. Click the \u201cShow\u201d button in the options window below and enter the value \u201cTERMSRV\/*<\/strong>\u201d  (without quotes) into the list<\/font><\/li>\n
  7. Click Apply button then c<\/font>lose all windows<\/font><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Do the same thing for the following policies:<\/font><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Allow Delegating Saved Credentials<\/font><\/li>\n
    2. Allow Delegating Default Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication<\/font><\/li>\n
    3. Allow Delegating Default Credentials<\/font><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Open CMD and use \u201cgpupdate \/force\u201d command to apply the policy directly then logoff\/restart your machine.<\/font><\/p>\n

      Voila! it\u2019s now work to connect RDP using saved credentials.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
