Routing protokol ini adalah <em>Cisco Proprietary<\/em> yang artinya hanya dapat dijalankan di perangkat Cisco saja. Hanya sedikit dokumentasi yang ditemukan menjadikan routing protokol ini tidak terlalu \u201cterbuka\u201d rahasia dan kemampuannya.<\/p>\n<p>Perhitungan metrik secara advance pada EIGRP untuk menentukan jalur terbaik berdasarkan nilai bandwidth, delay dan reliability. Agak lumayan ribet juga rumusnya. Buat yang mau hitung-menghitung rumusnya silahkan merujuk ke <strong>Wikipedia<\/strong>. Nilai ini harus sama pada semua router yang ingin dihubungkan.<\/p>\n<p>SMG(config-router)#<strong>no auto-summary \u2013&gt; <\/strong>memberikan perintah supaya EIGRP mendukung VLSM.<\/p>\n<p>Lakukan konfigurasi serupa pada seluruh router sehingga hasil akhirnya full reachability pada tiap loopback interface.<\/p>\n<p>Berikut hasil <strong>show ip route<\/strong> pada router ISP.<\/p>\n<p>ISP#show ip route<\/p>\n<p><em>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
